Job summary

Chattyvets is seeking a Night Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) for an Emergency & Critical Care role in Chichester, West Sussex. Salary £34,000–£36,000, average 36 hours per week, with an annualised 4-on, 7-off, 4-on, 6-off rota plus one twilight shift at a 24/7 hospital.

The successful candidate will join a supportive team, develop ECC skills, and benefit from funded CPD and enhanced leave, with generous staff discounts and a strong clinical freedom ethos.

Qualifications

• Is registered with the RCVS.
• Has at least 2-3 years' post-qualification experience.
• Has a full UK driving licence.
• Ideally has ECC experience or is working towards an ECC certificate.
• Enjoys working independently within a supportive team.
• Passionate about providing outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight nursing care for emergency and hospitalised patients.
• Support veterinary surgeons with emergency procedures and critical care cases.
• Monitor and care for inpatients during the night.
• Deliver high standards of patient and client care.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure standards.
