Job summary

Prospect Health is assisting a well-established independent veterinary hospital in the Chichester area to recruit a Night Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN). This role focuses on overnight care, emergency admissions and inpatient management within a dedicated night team.

The working pattern features an annualised rota with approximately 36 hours per week, 4 nights on, 7 nights off, and a twilight shift. You will deliver high standards of care, maintain accurate records and support the veterinary

Qualifications

  • Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) and RCVS registered or eligible
  • Experience in small animal nursing and emergency care
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Able to work independently within a supportive team

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high standards of overnight inpatient nursing care
  • Monitor and care for hospitalised patients
  • Assist with emergency admissions and treatments
  • Support veterinary surgeons during emergency procedures
  • Administer medications and maintain accurate clinical records
  • Ensure smooth patient handovers between day and night teams
  • Deliver exceptional patient and client care at all times

Night Registered Veterinary Nurse

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Night Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join a well-established independent veterinary hospital in the Chichester area. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident nurse who enjoys emergency and inpatient care while benefiting from an attractive work-life balance through an annualised rota.

Working as part of a dedicated night team, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional overnight patient care, supporting emergency admissions, and ensuring continuity of treatment for hospitalised patients. This position is ideal for an RVN with strong clinical skills who enjoys working independently while remaining part of a supportive and experienced team.

Working Pattern
