Job summary

Chattyvets in Leeds is seeking an experienced Night Registered Veterinary Nurse to join its out-of-hours team at a modern 24-hour facility. This position offers a competitive salary and the chance to work with advanced equipment including CT and endoscopy.

Qualifications

Night Registered Veterinary Nurse (OOH)

West Yorkshire | Competitive Salary DOE | 7 Nights On | 14 Nights Off | 24-Hour Hospital

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Night Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the out-of-hours team at a busy, well-equipped 24-hour veterinary hospital in West Yorkshire.

This role is ideal for an RVN with a passion for emergency and critical care who enjoys working with complex cases in a supportive, highly skilled environment. You'll be part of a dedicated night team delivering exceptional patient care across a varied emergency and hospital caseload.

The Role

• 7 nights on, followed by 14 nights off
• 8:00pm – 8:00am shifts
• Work alongside an on-site veterinary surgeon, experienced VCAs and twilight nursing team
• Manage a diverse caseload including medical, surgical and emergency patients
• Monitor complex anaesthetics and provide intensive inpatient nursing care
• Opportunity to work with advanced equipment including CT, laparoscopy, endoscopy and in-house diagnostics

About You

• RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse
• Previous ECC or hospital nursing experience
• Confident managing critically ill patients and complex nursing cases
• Emergency & Critical Care certificate (or currently working towards one) desirable
• Passionate about delivering exceptional patient care within a collaborative team
