Job summary

Phoenix House Children's Home in Bedlington is seeking a Residential Waking Night Care Officer. This permanent post is 32.38 hours per week on a night shift (4 nights on, 4 nights off) with a starting salary of £26,427 up to £26,847 plus unsociable hours premiums.

You will support children aged 6–17, undertake Diploma Level 3 in Residential Child Care, and access extensive induction and training. Please note sponsorship is not available for UK visas.

Qualifications

• Must be willing and able to undertake relevant training.
• You will be supported to complete the Diploma Level 3 in Residential Child Care.

Responsibilities

• Work a night shift pattern (4 nights on, 4 nights off) to provide care and support to the young people.
• Support the safety, well-being and developmental needs of children aged 6–17.
• Work independently and as part of a team to ensure high-quality, safe care.
