As a Supermarket Assistant, you'll help our difference be felt by our customers on every visit, providing the Partner-led service and passion for food that our competitors can't compete with — passionate Partners serving food lovers! Note: Due to working time regulations, applicants must be 18 years or over to apply.

Additional pay: You will receive a shift premium for hours worked between 22:00 and 06:00. This will be paid at the pay range minimum rate for your role.

Key Responsibilities

Your role involves a variety of shop-keeping related tasks to keep the operation running efficiently, including:

• Stock replenishment — ensuring shelves are full and products are in the right place for customers.
• Fulfilling online customer orders for delivery.
• Reducing wastage through product due diligence and markdowns on near-expiry items.
• Supporting the wider shop team with checkout, Click & Collect, and on-demand orders.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy environment with general shopkeeping tasks.

Essential skills/experience

• Effective communication skills for teamwork and customer service.

Desirable skills/experience

• Experience in a customer-facing role.
• Interest and knowledge in food and drink trends.
• Flexibility to support the branch as needed.

Work hours are 37.5 per week: Sunday to Wednesday, 21:15-07:30.
