Night Replenishment, Supermarket Assistant

About the role
As a Supermarket Assistant, you'll help create a memorable experience for our customers by providing excellent Partner-led service and demonstrating our passion for food. Your dedication to going the extra mile will positively impact the perception of the Waitrose brand and foster customer loyalty.
Applicants must be 18 years or over due to working time regulations.
In addition to the stated pay, a shift premium applies for hours worked between 22:00 and 06:00, paid at the role's minimum pay rate.
Key Responsibilities
Your role involves various shop-keeping tasks to ensure smooth and efficient store operations, including:

• Stock replenishment to keep shelves full and products correctly positioned
• Fulfilling online customer orders for delivery
• Reducing wastage through product due diligence and markdowns
• Supporting the wider team with checkout, Click & Collect, and on-demand orders
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment

Essential skills/experience
Effective communication skills to work well with colleagues and customers.
Desirable skills/experience
Experience in customer-facing roles, interest in food and drink trends, and a flexible approach to team support.
