The Best Connection is seeking a Recycling Operative for our client in Stafford. This long-term, full-time role involves physically demanding work in a recycling environment with training opportunities and potential permanent placement for the right candidate.

Key duties include sorting plastics and card, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining a clean, efficient work area. Night shifts from 18:00 to 06:00 with a 2-on/2-off, 3-on/2-off, 2-on/3-off pattern.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Baling and recycling card and plastic.
• Sort and segregate waste types for recycling.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and tidy work area.
• Process recyclable materials on lines or bays.
• Remove non-conforming items to maintain quality.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials as required.
• Follow site health and safety procedures.
