  • ADDITIONAL HOLIDAY DAYS | For every full year completed up to your 5th year with us we add on one additional day’s leave above and beyond your initial entitlement. You therefore get an extra full week off at 5 years every single year onward to rest up.
  • AND A LOT MORE | Okay, deep breath… enhanced sick pay, healthcare, life assurance, high street retail discounts, employee assistance programmes, enhanced family friendly policies around maternity and paternity leave, pawternity leave, DE+I and crew forum groups and an allowance to quality check some beers each month!

We’re focused on making sure that we, and future generations, have a planet to brew great beer on. Our industry leading techniques help us create and deliver unique beer whilst doing our bit (and others’) for the environment.

About The Role
Job Purpose

This is an exciting role. It isn’t about just posting pictures of beer; it’s about making BrewDog’s flagship bar in Waterloo (yes, the one with the slide!) impossible to ignore - bringing the bar’s personality, people, products and experiences to life across social and digital. As Digital & Social Executive, you’ll own the day-to-day online presence of BrewDog Waterloo. From creating engaging short-form video and reactive content to building and updating event pages, promoting live sport and events, and making sure customers can easily find everything they need to book and visit, you’ll make the most of every opportunity to get people through the doors. Your mission: build a social presence people actually want to follow, keep our digital channels fresh and engaging, and turn online attention into footfall, bookings and sales. And you won’t be doing it alone. Working closely with our passionate bar team, General Manager and Sales & Marketing team, you’ll combine creativity with commercial thinking to drive local awareness, grow our community and deliver against key KPIs - from social and campaign performance to bookings and ticket sales.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
  • Own the day-to-day social content calendar, from concept and creative development through to filming, editing, copywriting and publishing, with a strong understanding of what makes great social-first hooks, storytelling and content.
  • Stay ahead of trends, culture, sport and local conversations, proactively identifying opportunities to create reactive content and test new formats that grow reach, engagement and relevance.
  • Bring BrewDog’s tone of voice to life across every digital touchpoint, ensuring content feels bold, human, witty and distinctly BrewDog while remaining relevant to the Waterloo audience.
  • Build and nurture the Waterloo community, owning day-to-day engagement across social channels, responding to comments and DMs, engaging with relevant local communities and encouraging crew and customers to create and share authentic content.
  • Own and maintain the Waterloo website on Shopify, keeping content, menus, offers and key information accurate, engaging and commercially optimised.
  • Create and manage event pages, landing pages and listings across platforms including DesignMyNight and Eventbrite, ensuring event details, imagery, timings, ticketing and booking information are accurate and up to date.
  • Lead the promotion of key commercial activity, including bookings, events, live sport, launches, offers and seasonal campaigns, aligning activity to ticket sales, bookings and wider campaign KPIs.
  • Identify and develop local creator, influencer and business partnerships, organising collaborations and visits that build awareness, generate content and introduce new audiences to the bar.
  • Work closely with the General Manager, bar team and central Marketing team to bring campaigns to life locally, identify opportunities and ensure social and digital activity supports wider commercial priorities.
  • Regularly audit Waterloo’s digital presence and performance, using social and digital insights to understand what is working, identify opportunities and continually improve content, reach, engagement, footfall and sales.
