Job summary

Travelodge Newcastle Seaton Burn is looking for a Night Reception Team Member on a part-time contract. You will welcome guests, check them in, and help run the front desk during night hours.

You will walk the corridors at regular intervals, handle noise issues and evictions when needed, and set up the hotel for the next day, including housekeeping trolley prep, breakfast service, and occasional bar work.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and check them in during night shifts.
• Walk the corridors at regular intervals and respond to issues as needed.
• Handle noise complaints and evictions when necessary.
• Set up the hotel for the next day, including preparing housekeeping trolleys.
• Prep for breakfast service and provide occasional bar service.

We have regular rewards and recognition activities such as "FAB Fridays" and "Housekeeping Heroes". Your job will be welcoming the guests and checking them into the hotel, but you'll also be walking the corridors at regular intervals and you may have to deal with things like noise complaints and evictions. Your other main responsibility is setting up the hotel for the next day, so you'll be doing things like preparing the housekeeping trolleys, or prepping for breakfast service and even serving behind the bar at times
