Job summary

Accor hotel in Luton is looking for a Night Reception Team Member to welcome guests, handle reservations, and support nightly operations. This permanent role involves night audit tasks and coordinating F&B service during the night hours.

The position is part-time with weekend and public holiday work, totaling around 39 hours weekly, offering opportunities for development within the Accor network.

Qualifications

• Previous Customer Service Experience.
• Previous Hotel experience in a similar role (Desired).
• Guest oriented, service minded, and attentive to details.
• F&B experience will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes guests as soon as they arrive with care and attention, with a personalised approach.
• Anticipates guests' needs and considers them, handling any guest complaints and/or remarks.
• Promoting company’s ALL loyalty program.
• Assists as required with solving guest feedback in the most efficient and satisfying manner.
• Has knowledge of facilities and services, events offered by the hotel and the surrounding area.
• Competent in taking Reservations, upselling to maximise on average room rates.
• Patrols hotel areas and reports any fire or H&S hazards or maintenance.
• Ensures the security of the hotel and safety of staff and guests.
• Audits room rates, reconciles and balances revenues generated as per night audit checklist.
• Carries out night audit and daily closure.
• Responsible for F&B 24/7 offering during night-time, bar service and breakfast setup.
• Ensures all public areas are cleaned.
• Works to meet hotel quality and financial targets.
• Attends training sessions by company during daytime.

• This is a permanent night shift averaging 39hours per week.
