Job summary

Stagecoach Rugby Depot in Rugby is recruiting for a Duty Manager to oversee rail replacement operations, source transport at short notice, and coordinate with TOCs and SRRL Managers from our York control room. This role requires on‑duty availability and strict health and safety adherence.

The ideal candidate will manage resources, monitor coordination activities with operators, and maintain detailed records while ensuring timely client responses and efficient service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Source buses and coaches from internal and external companies at short notice at the client’s request.
• Control utilisation of resources to benefit the railway and passengers.
• Keep accurate records of work requested, allocated, operators and costs.
• Log all actions/events to generate an audit trail.
• Liaise with operators and Stagecoach staff to maintain relations.
