Job summary

Transport for Wales is seeking a role that coordinates Rail Replacement Services across operating locations in Wales. The postholder will monitor all operational elements to minimise disruption to passengers and ensure effective communication with RRS control staff and passengers throughout the journey.

Responsibilities

• Represent Transport for Wales in a positive, professional, and approachable manner at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers and delivering up-to-date travel information by clear announcements of service updates, departure times and calling patterns when required.
• Supervise and coordinate the safe and timely movement of rail replacement buses and coaches at designated locations by communicating real-time updates, delays, or changes to control, station teams, and other relevant parties quickly and clearly.
• Champion safety by ensuring all actions and decisions align with TfW’s safety protocols and standards.
