Mercure Newcastle George Washington Hotel, Golf & Spa is seeking a reliable Night Porter to join our team. You will work overnight, welcoming guests, handling late check-ins, and supporting security and operational tasks to ensure a smooth night.

Previous hotel experience is essential, with a strong focus on excellent customer service and professional conduct. You will balance the Night Audit, assist with queries, and help prepare the hotel for the following day.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel experience essential.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be 18 years or older, with the ability to work overnight.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, professional and welcoming service to guests overnight.
• Handle late check-ins/check-outs accurately and efficiently.
• Assist guests with luggage and information about hotel facilities and local area.
• Act as main overnight point of contact for guest inquiries.
• Balance the Night Audit and ensure correct posting of charges and payments.
• Maintain hotel security and ensure safety procedures are followed.
