Job summary

Malmaison Hotels is seeking a Night Porter to oversee the hotel operations from sundown to sunrise. You will manage the night-time Food & Beverage duties, welcome guests, keep public areas spotless, and prepare meeting spaces for the next day.

You will assist guests with luggage, handle enquiries, and conduct nightly health and safety audits. Strong organisational skills and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is beneficial.
• Experience of night shift work is essential.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Organised and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hotel operations at night.
• Take responsibility for the Food & Beverage department during night shifts.
• Welcome guests in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Keep public areas immaculate and clean.
• Prepare meeting and event spaces for the next day.
• Assist guests with luggage and enquiries.
• Carry out nightly Health and Safety audits.
• Be organised and an excellent communicator.
• Opportunity to progress to Night Supervisory or Assistant Night Management roles.
