Job Description

Role: Night Porter

Contract: Permanent

Schedule: 4 on / 4 off - Free Staff Parking

Location: Edinburgh

The Night Porter is responsible for overseeing the hotel operations from sundown to sunrise. This hands-on role involves managing guest expectations and maintaining brand standards.

During the night, the team ensures smooth operations. Your duties include managing the Food & Beverage department during your shift, welcoming guests, maintaining public areas, cleaning, and preparing meeting and event spaces for the next day.

You will assist guests with luggage, handle inquiries, and conduct nightly Health and Safety audits. The role requires organization and excellent communication skills.

Experience in a similar role and night shift work is essential.

We operate 7 days a week, 365 days a year, offering flexible shift patterns. Opportunities for career progression include Night Supervisory or Assistant Night Management roles.
