Job summary

Greene King is seeking a Night Porter to safeguard guests, staff and the hotel overnight. You will join a fun, inclusive team and have opportunities to grow your skills while delivering memorable service.

As a Night Porter, you’ll be the first point of contact for late check-ins and walk-ins, maintain high standards of safety, assist with emergencies, handle telephone enquiries, and support a welcoming guest experience with excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
• Sufficient spoken and written English.
• Ability to handle late arrivals and walk-ins.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience each and every time they visit.
• Be the first point of contact for late arrival check-ins and walk-ins.
• Ensure guest and business safety and security are the top priority at all times.
• In the event of a fire, safely and efficiently evacuate all guests and team members from the business.
• Answer telephone enquiries and resolve customer complaints to ensure every guest enjoys their stay.
• A willingness to learn and develop your skills.
• A great eye for detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
• A passion for delivering excellent customer service and making every guest feel welcome.
• A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.
