Job summary

The Ripon Inn, part of The Inn Collection Group, invites applications for a Night Porter. The role focuses on ensuring a smooth overnight guest experience, greeting guests, handling inquiries, and maintaining a welcoming, safe environment. You will contribute to breakfast prep and keep public spaces clean, helping guests feel at home throughout the night.

Ideal candidates are friendly, with strong communication skills, able to work independently and stay organised while energised by night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check guests in and out at reception.
• Assist with inquiries at reception, the bar, or over the phone.
• Serve guests professionally and promptly.
• Keep restaurant, lounge and facilities clean and tidy.
• Prepare the restaurant for breakfast service and set up the buffet table.
• Patrol the premises to perform security checks and maintain a safe environment.

You’ll Fit Right Inn

As a Night Porter, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience throughout the night. If you’re friendly, approachable, and have excellent customer service skills, this could be the perfect fit for you!
