Job summary

The NICI Collection is seeking a reliable Night Porter to support overnight operations at our luxury hotel. You will welcome guests, perform security checks, assist with arrivals and luggage, and ensure rooms and public areas are prepared for the morning shift.

Flexibility for overnight shifts, including weekends and bank holidays, is essential. Training and staff discounts are provided as part of our growing luxury brand.

Qualifications

• Reliable, trustworthy and able to work independently.
• Calm under pressure with good problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Previous hospitality or customer-facing experience is desirable but not essential.
• Flexible to work overnight shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests during the night in a friendly, professional manner.
• Carry out regular security patrols of the hotel and report issues promptly.
• Assist guests with arrivals, departures and luggage as needed.
• Set up meeting rooms and public areas as requested.
• Complete overnight cleaning and preparation tasks to ensure the hotel is ready for the morning.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve issues where possible.
• Assist with emergency procedures and uphold health and safety standards.
• Work closely with the Night Manager and other departments for smooth operation.

The Role

We are looking for a reliable and guest-focused Night Porter to join our team.

As the face of the hotel overnight, you will play an important role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests, colleagues, and property while delivering exceptional customer service. You will support the Night Manager with the smooth running of the hotel, assist guests with their requests, and carry out a range of operational tasks to ensure the hotel is ready for the day ahead.
