The Villa in Wrea Green is seeking a Night Porter to safeguard guests and maintain a warm, welcoming atmosphere through the night. You’ll handle late arrivals, check-ins, security checks, and morning handovers for a smooth start to the day.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel reception and guest greeting.
• Good knowledge of property management systems (PMS) is a plus.
• Reliable with excellent timekeeping and punctuality.
• Flexible, proactive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Strong problem-solving ability and composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, professional welcome to late-arriving guests.
• Handle night-time check-in and check-out procedures.
• Conduct regular security patrols and monitor premises.
• Respond to guest enquiries and room service requests promptly.
• Assist with early morning breakfast setups and events.
• Carry out light cleaning of public areas.
• Complete night audit procedures and handovers for morning team.
• Respond to emergencies or alarms according to procedures.
• Ensure all exits, doors, and windows are secure overnight.
• Assist with event setup and support at Mill Farm Sports Village as needed.

The Role

We’re looking for a Night Porter to ensure the safety, security, and comfort of our guests throughout the night. This is a varied and hands-on role where no two nights are the same. From welcoming late arrivals and assisting with check-ins to carrying out security checks and preparing for the next day’s events, you’ll be the reassuring presence that keeps everything running smoothly after dark.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Providing a warm and professional welcome to late-arriving guests.

• You may be required to support in the set up for events

• There may be some requirement to support at our other site (Mill Farm Sports Village)
