Job Details:
- Full-time, Permanent
- 40 hours per week
- Salary: £14.38 per hour
- Sunday to Thursday, 10:45 PM to 7:15 AM
Main Purpose: The Night Auditor manages the nightly operations at the reception desk, ensuring the welfare of all overnight guests, late clients, and the building.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining a positive departmental culture
- Providing exceptional service to exceed guest expectations
- Welcoming visitors and guests warmly with eye contact and a smile
- Being aware of upcoming events in the venue
- Handling visitor inquiries and requests
- Managing visitor passes and directing visitors
- Issuing Searcys passes and gym passes
- Answering calls promptly and managing voicemails
- Responding to emails within 12 hours
- Taking reservations via phone, email, or in person
- Checking guests in and out overnight stays
- Maintaining accurate guest records
- Communicating with housekeeping about guest needs
- Collaborating with engineering and IT to resolve issues
- Promoting bedroom facilities for future bookings
- Ensuring correct posting of charges and payments
- Adhering to cash handling policies
- Knowledge of rates, promotions, and memberships
- Maintaining knowledge of all products/services
- Completing daily checklists and maintaining reception area standards
- Coordinating with other departments for smooth operations
- Following all standards and procedures outlined in the Searcys Handbook
Specific Duties include:
- Ensuring smooth night operations
- Updating and following up on handover records
- Addressing guest feedback professionally
- Responding to emergencies and overseeing evacuations
- Following health and safety regulations
- Processing rates and end-of-day routines
- Managing daily banking and cash-up
- Preparing event signage and maintaining stock levels
