Responsibilities

• Work as part of the overnight team to ensure guests receive excellent service while the hotel remains safe and ready for the day.
• Complete general reception and porter duties, including room service trays, nightly checks and newspaper deliveries.
• Respond to guest enquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Handle overnight enquiries and requests effectively.
• Follow property security and fire & safety procedures.
• Assist with some food preparation when required.
• Clean and maintain the lobby, entrances and restrooms.
• Assist with overnight laundry, including towels and robes.
• Clear function and conference rooms after evening events and set up for the following day.

Night Porter - Exeter | £14.30 per hour + Live-In Accommodation

As a Night Porter, you'll play an important role in keeping the hotel running smoothly overnight, supporting guests, maintaining high standards and ensuring the property is secure and ready for the day ahead.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working as part of the overnight team, you'll help ensure guests receive excellent service while the hotel remains safe, clean and well prepared.
• Complete general reception and porter duties, including room service trays, nightly checks and newspaper deliveries
• Respond to guest enquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently
• Handle overnight enquiries and requests effectively
• Follow property security and fire & safety procedures
• Assist with some food preparation when required
• Clean and maintain the lobby, entrances and restrooms
• Assist with overnight laundry, including washing and folding towels and robes
• Clear function and conference rooms following evening events and set up furniture for the following day

• Previous hotel or hospitality housekeeping experience is essential
