About the role:

We are looking for an organised and committed Night Packing Team Lead to join our MedExpress/Levity Pharmacy Team at our brand new warehouse in Leamington Spa. Due to the success our weight loss service has had in 2024, we are launching additional shifts. This exciting role will play a pivotal part in the continued success of our weight loss brands into 2025 and beyond.As a Packing Team Lead, you will be managing a team of Packers on a production line, ensuring volume, speed and accuracy targets are met. The role involves ensuring the safe handling of GLP1 weight loss medication, ice packs (as this is a refrigerated drug) and sharps boxes.

You will be working closely with our dispensing team to ensure all GLP-1 weight loss orders are dispensed and dispatched on time. If you enjoy working cross-departmentally and are a self-starter with strong communication skills this role would suit you perfectly.

This is a full-time, permanent role, based on site in our Leamington Spa warehouse. Shifts will be on 4 days on & 4 days off schedule, between the hours of 9pm - 9am.

What you'll be doing in the role:

Management and Leadership:

• Arrange temporary cover for holidays, sicknesses, and seasonal demands to maintain optimal staffing levels.
• Daily standup meetings to celebrate success and relay performance goals.
• Ensure all staff and temporary workers have read and signed the SOPs.
• Ensure new hires and temps complete required training.
• Communicate clearly with teams to clarify duties and responsibilities.
• Promptly resolve issues and escalate to the Responsible Pharmacist and Site Manager when necessary.
• Conduct 1-1 and performance reviews with direct reports.
• Verify and approve invoice details for agencies, locums, and contractors, and relay staff overtime to HR.

Fulfilment and Operations

• Ensuring the on time dispatch of all packages while maintaining safety and cost control targets are met.
• Optimising the workspace and current workflow to maximise efficiency.
• Work to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with delivery service providers to optimise collection times and volumes.
• Establish productivity targets for staff and evaluate performance accordingly.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and Warehouse Coordinators to maintain adequate supplies of both product and packaging stock.
• Meet quality targets and strive for zero picking / dispatch errors.
• Ensure stock integrity and control across storage and pick locations, supporting stock counts as required.
• Maintain workplace cleanliness and area readiness.
• Shift handovers to counterparts.
• Act as a keyholder responsible for the site lock-up and opening (once probation is completed).

What you'll bring to the role:

• Experience of leading medium sized teams in a similar ecommerce environment.
• Ability to plan, prioritise and organise effectively.
• Able to thrive under deadlines and deliver results.
• Proficient in Excel for report creation and data-driven decision-making.
• Display strong leadership and team motivation abilities.
• Clear and concise communication, problem-solving and time management skills.
• An understanding of the business rationale and the ability to initiate and implement decisions that will achieve business goals and objectives.
• Desirable skills:Process Improvement training,MHE licences, First Aid trained
