Practice Plus Group's Health in Justice Primary Care team at HMP Werrington is recruiting a part-time night nurse to deliver a nurse-led service for young offenders (boys aged 15 to 18). The role covers medication rounds, controlled drug dispensing, emergency response and patient assessment on a 23-hour-per-week rota (nine night shifts, 20:45–07:45).

• Undertake medication rounds and dispense controlled medication.
• Attend emergency response situations.
• Assess patients and undertake reception screening.
• Deliver nurse-led clinics to the patient group.
• Provide evidence-based, personalised care and act on patient feedback.

• Build strong links with partners and stakeholders.

Practice Plus Group's Health in Justice Primary Care team at HMP Werrington, a young offenders institution for boys aged 15 to 18, is recruiting a part-time night nurse. The work is a nurse-led service aimed at preventing hospital admissions, covering medication rounds, controlled drug dispensing, emergency response and patient assessment. The role is 23 hours a week on a four-week rolling rota of nine night shifts, 20:45 to 07:45. Fit depends on adult nursing registration and passing additional vetting and security checks.

Qualifications
