Job summary

Colten Care is seeking a Night Nurse for Castle View in Poundbury, Dorchester. The role involves 36 hours per week of night shifts, including alternate weekends, with paid breaks and a supportive clinical team.

You will contribute to the clinical decision-making process, provide high-quality nursing care, and participate in ongoing training and professional development within a respected, award-winning care group.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current NMC registration.
• Strong clinical knowledge and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to residents and their families.

We are seeking a nurse to join our dedicated clinical team and become an integral part of the clinical decision-making process in our care homes. The position is available at our stunning home,Castle View in Poundbury, Dorchester.

You’ll work with fellow Nurses and Senior Care Leads. Our knowledgeable and accessible Clinical and Quality team experts are on hand, with 24/1 on-call support if you need them. They are regular visitors to our homes offering guidance and support where needed. You’ll build lasting relationships with our residents making a meaningful difference in their health and well-being every day translating our care philosophy of “All About Me” into a reality.

About You

The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical knowledge and sound judgment. Excellent communication skills and a positive \"can-do\" attitude are essential. You should be a team player, detail-oriented, and have a sense of fun.

You should also have experience promoting best practices in wound management, nutrition, tissue viability, end-of-life care, and other crucial clinical interventions.
