Job summary

Village is seeking a Night Manager to lead the hotel through the night, overseeing Reception and front of house in line with brand standards. You’ll drive high hospitality standards, ensure guests depart happy, and guide your team to excel.

As the face of Village at night, you’ll manage check-outs, handle reservations, cost awareness, and mentor staff. DBS checks apply and training will be provided to support your growth in a busy, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• The Ultimate Welcome: Delivering a warm, vibrant welcome to all late arrivals and assisting guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
• Commercial Hustle: Reviewing wage costs, driving the use of Opera to note special requirements, balancing accounts daily, and taking every opportunity to upsell rooms.
• Problem Solving: Dealing efficiently with reservations and handling any complaints politely and positively to resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Inspirational Leadership: Recruiting great people, tracking daily reports, and benchmarking individual team members' performance against high-performance behaviours.
