Leonardo Hotels Newcastle Quayside is seeking an experienced Assistant Night Manager to oversee the Night Crew, manage guest arrivals and departures, and balance the day’s business through night audit procedures.

You will lead a small team, handle cash operations, respond to guest requests, and resolve issues promptly while maintaining high standards and ensuring guest safety during night hours.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience or be a strong front office or nights team member.
• Excellent communication to welcome and bid farewell to guests.
• Flexible with night shifts, weekends included.
• Ability to read guests' needs and respond promptly.
• Good people skills and ability to work in a small team or alone.
• Experience with night audit balancing and cash handling.
• Organised, calm under pressure, and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Resolve guest complaints promptly and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Night Crew to high standards and ensure clear duties.
• Be familiar with arrivals, departures, and special requests.
• Respond promptly to guest queries and keep areas clean.
• Follow standard procedures for guest arrivals/departures.
• Handle guest complaints with friendly, efficient service.
• Train and motivate colleagues.
• Execute cash, charge, float and till procedures.
• Follow night audit procedures and generate reports.
• Run backups and ensure guest safety and comfort.
