Job summary

A.F. Blakemore & Son Ltd is seeking a Loading Bay Operative for night shifts to accurately load customer orders onto vehicles and prepare trucks for departure. You will ensure correct handling of run-sheets, documents and vehicle keys after loading, while maintaining safety and efficiency in a busy depot environment.

The role requires numeracy, literacy, and involves night shifts Sunday to Thursday, with a 40-hour week and a competitive night allowance package.

Qualifications

• Numerate and literate.
• Reach/counterbalance FLT licence desirable.
• Full driving licence desirable.
• Warehousing and distribution experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• The accurate loading of customer orders onto company vehicles.
• Ensuring that drivers' run-sheets, documentation and vehicle keys are distributed correctly on completion of loading.
• The preparation of vehicles prior to loading.
