Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Licensed Nursing Assistant for Exeter Hospital in Exeter, NH. The position involves providing basic patient care under the supervision of the licensed nurse and rotating through Med-Surg/Telemetry and possibly PCU/ED holds.

Qualifications

Licensed Nursing Assistant – NH State licensure required.
CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
Float pool coverage across Med-Surg/Telemetry and PCU/ED holds.

Responsibilities

Follows established policies, procedures, quality improvement, safety and infection control standards.
Performs basic nursing tasks such as incentive spirometry, bedside glucose testing and non-sterile dressing changes.
Provides personal care to patients and reports changes to nursing staff.
Monitors patient condition and communicates updates to the appropriate personnel.
Documents patient care accurately in medical records and maintains a safe patient environment.
Supports patient rights and participates in ongoing professional development.
