Job summary

Evri Group in Basildon is seeking a Class 1 lorry driver for a permanent night-shift role. You’ll work a 45-hour week across Mon-Fri with starts around 5–6 pm, trunking to regional hubs on the night shift and home each day. You’ll handle loading/unloading at some sites and operate pallet trucks as needed.

Qualifications

• Class 1 driving licence required
• DCPC training hours completed or in progress
• Excellent knowledge of road transport laws and safe driving practices

Responsibilities

• Drive a lorry from our fleet, trunk to regional hubs on the night shift
• Load/unload at sites where required and operate pallet trucks as needed
• Inspect vehicle and trailer daily and complete a Defect Report if necessary
