Job summary

KS Composites is hiring a Laminating Supervisor to lead the night-shift laminating operation at Old Dalby. You will supervise the team, ensure production targets and quality standards, and maintain safety practices on nights from 6pm to 6am.

The role requires experience in composites manufacturing and laminating, plus supervisory capabilities, reading technical drawings, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Competitive salary and permanent night shift offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in composites manufacturing and laminating.
• Experience in a supervisory or senior laminator role.
• Strong knowledge of composite laminating processes and materials.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to organise workloads and work under pressure.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving.
• A strong commitment to health & safety.
• Flexibility and reliability; able to work permanent nights.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the night-shift laminating operation and support the team.
• Allocate work and manage daily production priorities.
• Ensure laminating work meets drawings, specs and quality standards.
• Monitor production output, quality and efficiency.
• Carry out quality checks and address issues promptly.
• Provide guidance, training and support to team members.
• Ensure correct use of materials, tools and equipment.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality and other departments to resolve issues.
• Promote teamwork, safety and continuous improvement; follow procedures.
