Job summary

KS Composites, located in Old Dalby, is seeking experienced Composite Laminators to join day or night shifts on-site. The role focuses on laminating prepreg materials, mould preparation with release agents, demoulding, inspection, and strict adherence to quality systems.

The site runs Monday–Friday days or 6pm–6am nights, with a rural location requiring reliable transport. The ideal candidate can read technical drawings, minimise material waste, manage workloads, stay calm under pressure, and

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in the UK (visa sponsorship not available).
• Experience working as a Laminator in a similar environment.
• Own vehicle and ability to commute to site due to rural location.
• Methodical, precise and quality-driven approach to work.
• Experience working from technical drawings and specifications.
• Ability to minimise material waste and work efficiently.
• Strong workload management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Calm under pressure, with proactive problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• The confidence to identify and elevate issues when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Preparing moulds by applying release agents to ensure high-quality production.
• Hand-laminating pre-preg materials with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Safely de-moulding cured components while protecting both parts and tooling.
• Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet exacting quality standards.
• Following and maintaining our quality management systems.
