Job summary

KS Composites in Old Dalby, LE14 3NQ, is seeking a skilled Laminator for day and night shifts. You will prepare moulds, hand-laminate pre-preg materials, de-mould components, inspect quality, and uphold our quality management systems on-site.

Day or Night Shift Patterns Available

Days: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Nights: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 pm – 6:00 am

Key Responsibilities and Duties

The Role

As a key member of our production team, you’ll be responsible for:

Preparing moulds by applying release agents to ensure high-quality production.

Hand-laminating pre-preg materials with accuracy and attention to detail.

Safely de-moulding cured components while protecting both parts and tooling.

Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet exacting quality standards.

Following and maintaining our quality management systems.

Key Skills and Competencies

The Candidate

We’re looking for candidates who have the following skills and attributes:

Experience working as a Laminator in a similar environment

Their own vehicle and the ability to commute to our site due to its rural location.

A methodical, precise and quality-driven approach to work.

Experience working from technical drawings and specifications.

A calm approach under pressure, with proactive problem-solving skills.
