Job summary

DSV is seeking a Night Inventory Operator for Raunds, Wellingborough, on a 12-month fixed term contract with potential for permanency. You will perform nightly inventory checks, manage locked inventory, investigate stock discrepancies, and drive continuous improvements to processes and layout.

Training will be provided for system activities, with opportunities for progression within a global logistics leader.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret datasets and present findings clearly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise and manage workload to tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (CargoWrite/Red Prairie) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work on the warehouse floor to understand processes and ensure accuracy.
• Manage Locked Inventory and auto-generated stock checks.
• Oversee replenishment processes and optimize pick-faces.
• Conduct PI counts, spot checks, and investigate discrepancies.
• Identify process improvements and train operatives on systems.
