Job summary

AO is hiring a Stock Controller Nights for our Crewe warehouse to protect stock integrity in a fast-paced environment. You’ll manage inbound docs, assign trailers, investigate discrepancies, and drive accurate inventory reporting using GEAC/WMS systems.

This 4-on/4-off night shift runs 6:00pm–6:00am on a full-time permanent contract, with a data-driven mindset and collaborative cross-team engagement to maintain operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Ability to identify discrepancies and investigate root causes methodically.
• Comfortable working with numerical data and warehouse systems.
• Confident in communicating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Ensure inbound documentation aligns with system entries, assigning trailers to bays promptly and reporting discrepancies.
• Manage inbound shipments via Goods In Dashboard from various suppliers and escalate discrepancies.
• Conduct inventory investigations using GEAC to resolve stock discrepancies.
• Generate and manage inventory reports, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Handle 3rd party product processes including inbound management and reporting.
