Job summary

CDI - Russell Taylor is seeking a Warehouse Operative with Very Narrow Aisle experience for a night shift in Warrington. You will operate VNA forklifts, load and unload goods, and move stock within a busy warehouse environment, providing accurate inventory updates and supporting shipping and receiving activities.

The role requires careful adherence to safety protocols, basic math skills for stock checks, and a proactive, team-oriented approach to meeting daily targets.

Qualifications

• Experience operating VNA forklifts or similar narrow-aisle equipment.
• Knowledge of inventory control and order processing.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate VNA forklifts safely to load, unload and transport goods.
• Manage materials handling with accurate stock placement and retrieval.
• Use WMS to track inventory movements and generate reports.
• Inspect equipment and report mechanical issues for maintenance.
• Assist with shipping and receiving and verify deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
• Conduct heavy lifting in line with manual handling protocols.
