Job summary

DPD Group is seeking a Warehouse Operative for night shifts at our Norwich depot. This fast-paced, physically demanding role involves loading/unloading, sorting, and using scanners to route parcels accurately. You’ll be on your feet throughout the shift and contribute to delivering excellent service.

Full training from day one and provided uniform and PPE are included, with a support-focused team culture and opportunities for progression within the company.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading, scanning, and sorting parcels with precision and accuracy
• Handling items up to 25kg (who needs a gym membership when you can keep fit whilst you work!)
• Using our technology systems to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right time
• Operating warehouse equipment including scanners, conveyor systems, and handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping throughout the warehouse environment
• Conducting quality control checks to verify parcel condition and accurate labelling and reporting any discrepancies, damaged items, or system issues to your supervisor promptly
• Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and shift objectives
• Adhering to attendance expectations and maintaining reliability throughout your shift
