Job summary

Avara Foods Ltd. is hiring Night Hygiene Operatives at the Hereford site to uphold hygiene standards across two facilities. Training starts on day one, with full shift patterns from 22:00 to 06:00, Monday to Friday.

No prior experience is required, and you’ll join a team dedicated to quality, safety and efficiency in a high-volume poultry operation. Salary starts with £13.67 per hour plus a £1.65 shift premium, with a guaranteed weekly earnings target of at least £561 and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Good level of English and basic numeracy are required.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
• Good attention to detail and flexible attitude to tasks.
• Experience in a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support hygiene processes and achieve hygiene standards in the team.
• Follow health, safety and food safety rules at all times.
• Meet individual and department targets and monitor usage of materials and energy.
• Carry out manual handling and isolation of plant and equipment as directed.
• Maintain housekeeping and hygiene standards on the shift.
• Follow instructions from Team Leader/Management.
