Job summary

Avara Foods Limited is seeking Weekend Hygiene Operatives for our Hereford site to help maintain high hygiene standards in production areas. No prior experience is required as full training is provided, and you’ll join a dedicated team on weekend shifts.

The role offers a secure contract with guaranteed hours, paid weekly, and overtime opportunities. The site operates with early/late weekend schedules; a shift allowance is included, and you’ll be supported by a strong safety and quality culture.

Qualifications

• Good level of English and basic numeracy.
• Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively.
• Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks.
• Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Understanding and attainment of both individual and department targets.
• Awareness of the usage of material and energy sources.
• Co-operate in the continuous improvement of quality, safety and productivity standards.
• Manual handling of plant and equipment
• Isolation of plant and machinery
• To meet housekeeping and hygiene standards individually and as part of a team.
• Compliance with food safety and HSE guidelines
• To carry out instructions as given to you by your Team Leader/Management
