Job summary

Avara Foods Ltd. in Hereford is hiring Night Hygiene Operatives to join our food production team. No experience is required as full training is provided, with a guaranteed weekly minimum of £560 and overtime opportunities. The role covers night shifts on a two-facility site, with a shift premium applicable to the late hours.

You will work as part of a team to maintain hygiene, safety, and quality standards, supporting efficient production and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Good level of English and basic numeracy required.
• Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively.
• Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks.

Responsibilities

• Understand and meet individual and department targets.
• Be aware of usage of material and energy sources.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of quality, safety and productivity.
• Manual handling of plant and equipment
• Isolate plant and machinery
• Meet housekeeping and hygiene standards, individually and as a team.
• Comply with food safety and HSE guidelines
• Carry out instructions from Team Leader/Management
