Job summary

Pro-Pak Foods is seeking a Night Hygiene Manager to lead our night hygiene operation, ensuring our site, equipment and production areas are cleaned safely, effectively and to the highest standards.

You’ll lead the night hygiene team, manage staffing, champion food safety and health & safety, train staff, monitor hygiene standards and collaborate with Production, Technical and Maintenance teams to keep the site safe and operational.

Qualifications

• Experience within a food manufacturing, hygiene or FMCG environment would be advantageous.
• Understanding of HACCP, contamination risks, cleaning chemicals and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the night hygiene team.
• Ensure cleaning schedules are completed safely, on time and to standard.
• Champion food safety, hygiene and health & safety across the site.
• Plan and manage staffing, including agency cover and holidays.
• Train, coach and assess team members to ensure competency.
• Monitor hygiene standards, microbiological results and documentation.
• Work closely with Production, Technical and Maintenance teams to keep the site safe and operational.
• Manage performance fairly and consistently, including return-to-work and disciplinary processes.
• Ensure correct use of chemicals, PPE, equipment and hygiene procedures.
• Deliver a thorough handover to the incoming shift, highlighting any cleanliness, food safety or foreign body risks.
