Job summary

Country Style Foods is seeking an experienced Night Hygiene Leader for the Kettering site to manage the night shift and ensure the highest standards of hygiene and food safety. You will plan activities, lead the hygiene team, and coordinate with Production, Technical, and Engineering to support operational efficiency.

The role requires HACCP and COSHH training, strong GMP knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to motivate others.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Hygiene Department within food manufacturing.
• Experience leading and developing teams.
• HACCP and COSHH trained.
• Strong knowledge of hygiene, food safety and GMP standards.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Outlook.
• Proactive approach with ability to motivate and develop others.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Night Hygiene Team to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and food safety.
• Plan and coordinate hygiene activities in line with production requirements.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, COSHH, and Health & Safety standards.
• Conduct hygiene inspections, audits, and verification checks.
• Drive continuous improvement and promote best practice across the site.
• Manage hygiene resources, including labour, equipment, and cleaning materials.
• Support employee training, development, attendance, and performance management.
• Work closely with Production, Technical, and Engineering teams to support operational efficiency.

We are currently looking for an experienced Night Hygiene Manager to join our Kettering site. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business offering long-term career development and progression.

Key Responsibilities

About You

• Confident using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook.
• A proactive approach with the ability to motivate and develop others.

Desirable

• Train the Trainer qualification.
• Food Safety qualification.
• Bakery manufacturing experience.
