Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking a Clinical Support Worker to join the Hospital at Night Team at The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. The role involves providing essential clinical and non-clinical support to patients and multidisciplinary teams during out-of-hours periods.

You will work with a degree of autonomy across acute specialties, delivering safe, person-centred care and helping to ensure the smooth running of hospital services overnight.

Responsibilities

• Undertake a range of clinical procedures including venepuncture, cannulation, ECG recording and patient observations
• Support the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of patient care across a variety of specialties
• Monitor patient conditions and promptly escalate concerns
