Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner for the Hospital at Night ANP team, based at The Royal Alexandra Hospital with potential to cover other sites. You will assess, diagnose, treat, and prescribe for acutely unwell patients during out-of-hours periods, using high-level clinical decision-making.

The post requires RN registration with NMC and extensive acute care experience; you will work both autonomously and as part of a wide multi-disciplinary team,

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse on the NMC register with ANP qualifications and acute care experience.
• Ability to work autonomously with high-level clinical decision making.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a wide multi-disciplinary team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, treat and prescribe for acutely unwell patients in out-of-hours.
• Provide care using advanced clinical knowledge to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
• Cover shifts including nights and weekends across sites as required.
