Job summary

PIVT Group Ltd is seeking a reliable HGV Class 1 Night Driver for Warrington. This permanent, full-time role involves night routes on a 4-on-4-off schedule (12-hour shifts starting at 11pm) with paid breaks.

You will deliver to customer stores, use tail-lift equipment, and handle cages safely during night operations. Responsibilities include ensuring legal compliance, vehicle checks, and accurate paperwork.

Qualifications

• UK Class 1 C+E licence is required.
• Driver CPC qualification card is required.
• Digital tachograph card is required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 1 C+E vehicles in line with legal, customer and client requirements
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly
• Deliver cages into customer stores using tail-lift equipment where required
• Complete night deliveries to closed stores responsibly and independently
• Manually unload loaded cages and move them safely into store delivery areas
• Reload empty cages onto the trailer for return
• Operate fixed-deck and moving-deck double-deck trailers where required
• Complete all delivery paperwork, PODs and electronic records accurately and on time
• Maintain compliance with Drivers Hours, Working Time Directive and tachograph rules
• Communicate clearly with transport planners, site teams and customers
• Represent our client professionally at all times
