Job summary

TRCGroup is seeking HGV Class 1 Night Drivers in Sheffield. Temp to perm role with around 20:00 starts and 8–10 hour night shifts. Responsibilities include trunking between hubs, up to two runs per night, and paperwork accuracy.

Requirements: valid HGV Class 1 (C+E), CPC and Digi Card, 6 months experience, and knowledge of driver hours regulations. PAYE rate £18.00 per hour with flexible, professional attitude required.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• 6 months experience required.
• Maximum 6 points for minor offences only.
• Valid CPC and Digi Card.
• Good understanding of driver hours and regulations.
• Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Completing trunking work between the client's hubs.
• Completing up to 2 runs per night.
• Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time.
• Carrying out all required vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Completing all necessary paperwork accurately.
• Ensuring compliance with driver hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Maintaining a professional approach at all times.
