Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of a well-known distribution business based in Leeds. We are looking for HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers to join the team.

The role is temp to perm, night shifts, paying £17.77 per hour PAYE. Duties include trunking between hubs, up to 2 runs per night, completing paperwork accurately, and complying with driver hours and WTD regulations. Vehicle checks before/after shifts and a professional approach are required.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence is required.
• Maximum of 6 points for minor offences only.
• Valid CPC and Digi Card.
• Good understanding of driver hours and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Completing trunking work between the client’s hubs.
• Completing up to 2 runs per night.
• Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time.
• Carrying out all required vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Completing all necessary paperwork accurately.
• Ensuring compliance with driver hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Maintaining a professional approach at all times.
