Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd (Yorkshire) Limited are recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers for a Sheffield distribution hub on a temp-to-perm basis. You will work Monday to Friday with around 20:00 starts and undertake night trunking, completing up to two runs per shift.

Responsibilities include safe deliveries, thorough vehicle checks, and accurate paperwork while complying with driver hours and Working Time Directive regulations. CPC and Digi Card holders are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• 6 months experience or more preferred.
• Good understanding of driver hours and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Completing trunking work between client hubs.
• Carrying out up to 2 runs per night.
• Performing pre- and post-shift vehicle checks.
• Completing all required paperwork accurately.
• Ensuring deliveries are on time and compliant with WTD.
