Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd (Yorkshire) Limited is seeking HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers for our Sheffield operation. The role involves trunking between client hubs and up to 2 night runs, with safety, accuracy, and regulatory compliance at the forefront.

Shifts typically start around 20:00, Monday to Friday, with night work and around 810 hour shifts. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity based in Sheffield, offering PAYE pay at £18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• 6 months experience required.
• Maximum 6 points for minor offences only.
• Valid CPC and Digi Card.
• Good understanding of driver hours and regulations.
• Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Completing trunking work between the clients hubs.
• Completing up to 2 runs per night.
• Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time.
• Carrying out all required vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Completing all necessary paperwork accurately.
• Ensuring compliance with driver hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Maintaining a professional approach at all times.
