Job summary

Frances Bolitho Care Home in Penzance, Cornwall, invites applications for a Night Healthcare Assistant on a part-time or full-time basis. You will deliver compassionate, person-centred care, assist with medication administration and welfare checks, and work with a supportive night team.

A clear development pathway exists to become an Enhanced Healthcare Assistant, with training and supervision from team leads and care coordinators.

Qualifications

• Care Certificate or recognised Health and Social Care qualification preferred.
• Experience in care, with dementia or complex needs a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centred care during night shifts.
• Administer medication following training and competency sign-off.
• Support residents, conduct welfare checks and maintain records.
• Assist the Night Coordinator and mentor junior team members.
