Job summary

Cornwallis Care Services Ltd. is seeking a Night Healthcare Assistant at Frances Bolitho Care Home in Penzance, offering either part-time or full-time hours. You will deliver compassionate, patient-centred care during the night, ensuring residents feel safe and valued.

Ideal candidates hold a Care Certificate or a recognised Health and Social Care qualification, with training and support provided to progress towards enhanced roles. DBS checks and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Care Certificate or Health and Social Care qualification required.
• Experience in care, ideally with dementia or complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with night-time personal care and wellbeing.
• Administer medications following training and competency sign-off.
• Maintain accurate digital records and care plans.
• Support the Night team and mentor colleagues when needed.
• Ensure a calm, safe, and secure environment throughout the shift.
